CAMPS AND PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

2012 Summer Camps

Philly Point Guard Camp is proud to announce the schedule for its seventh summer of basketball instruction. We have been teaching youngsters of all ages how to play basketball the right way. We have gained the reputation of turning intramural players into varsity players and beginners into decent intramural players by stressing effort, hard work and dedication. Our staff consists of high school and college colleges and former college and high school players whose sole function is to help everyone who enters the gym become a better player. It's a simple formula that has worked for hundreds of area youths. We will be holding at least six weeks of camp and are hoping to add a week in Philadelphia during the week of Aug. 6th.

Summer 2012 schedule

June 18-22: At Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, Pa. (high school-aged girls only)
June 25-29: At Fugett Middle School, West Chester, Pa. (boys and girls ages 6-14)
July 9-13: At Brandywine Youth Club, Concordville, Pa. (boys and girls ages 6-10; and boys and girls ages 13-18)
July 16-20: At Brandywine Youth Club, Concordville, Pa. (boys and girls ages 11-18)
July 23-27: At Tabernacle Baptist Church, Burlington, NJ (boys and girls ages 8-18)
Aug. 13-17: At Kelly Bolish Gym, Hatboro, Pa. (boys and girls ages 8-14)

Spring Player Development sessions

We will be holding Spring Player Development sessions at four different sites during the week starting the week of March 12 and going through the week of May 21. The sessions are open to boys and girls ages 8-18. Each session will cost $35. And for boys who are interested in playing AAU ball, we ask that you sign up for 10 sessions, which will also include at least one practice session per week. If you have any questions regarding AAU, please call us at 215-806-7757 for more details.

The sessions are:

Mondays, 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia, Pa.

Tuesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Burlington, NJ
Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. (8-11 Y.O.) and 8-9:30 p.m. (12 and up), at St. Thomas the Apostle, Glen Mills, Pa.
Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m., at Fugett Middle School, West Chester, Pa.
